I had one of the best weekends EVER last weekend with my husband (and surprise guests 😜). We went to Washington, DC and stayed at the Tabbard Inn. We have stayed there since 1990’s when we lived in DC and were just starting out. He and and the kids planned ahead and gave me a massive surprise when they joined us out of nowhere. Everything from a complimentary bottle of champagne, to an exquisite 3 hour gourmet meal, and afterwards laughing and talking into the wee hours. It was a dream, truly lifetime memories. We had complimentary donuts in the room, trips to our favorite book stores and museums like Politics and Prose , Kramer Books and the Philips Collection . It was simply magical 🥰
