Celebrate Pride-Happiness and Freedom

People who are proud aren’t scared, confused or unhappy. And that terrifies narrow minded, lost people trapped in their own unhappiness. Over the course of my life my naturally happy nature often drew confusing responses from people. They resented it or me, they didn’t understand it or me, they tried to tear it or me down, because that was easier then dealing with what they found lacking or dysfunctional in themselves. Sometimes I felt hurt or bad about myself, maybe they were right. Was my happiness a delusion or the symbol of a “simple” or “weak minded” person like they said? With experience and introspection, support of family, friends and community, I realized my happy was a super power. My happiness is my freedom; to think, interact with others, and operate in this world without the baggage of brooding hatred, intolerant labels, or rigid boundaries set by someone else. I am so pleased to celebrate this Pride Month with the LGBTI+ community, to be an ally for them this month and every freaking month, day and year. It’s pretty clear anyone who isn’t celebrating this month with the LGBTGI+ community, or that’s busy hating on them, that person is narrow minded, afraid, trapped, unhappy in their own self or all of the above. Also f..k facism , Ron Desantis and the Ugandan Parliament.
